Despite a lapse in blog posts in the last half of 2011, 2012 is off to a great start with some new blood in the creative space. A hearty welcome to our latest interns and blog writers:

Blake Wilton went to Cornish College of the Arts located in Seattle, Wa where he graduated in 2010, receiving his BFA in Graphic Design with a focus on Motion Design. Originally from Seattle, he moved to DC from New York after spending a summer interning with the incredibly cool GPS based augmented reality app Goldrun. His favorite things are drawing dinosaurs, listening to Led Zeppelin, nerding out about film, and reading about design and typography.

Andrea Zegarra is a recent grad from the Ringling College of Art & Design (not a clown school… ART school) majoring in Graphic & Interactive Communication and minoring in Business of Art & Design. After interning in various cities (New York, Kansas City) she decided to come back home to DC. Other interests/obsessions include fashion, thrift stores, non-radio music, design blogs and tumblr.
